Artifact 1: "Brave New World" Literary Analysis
Introduction
During my 9th-grade English class, I completed a comprehensive literary analysis of Aldous Huxley's dystopian novel "Brave New World." This project required me to deeply analyze the complex themes of technology, control, and humanity within the novel, and present my findings in a clear, engaging multimedia format. The assignment challenged me to go beyond surface-level reading and examine how Huxley's vision of a controlled society relates to contemporary issues. Through this project, I developed critical thinking skills, learned to support arguments with textual evidence, and improved my ability to communicate complex ideas through visual presentation. This work demonstrates my growth as an analytical thinker and my ability to engage with challenging literature at a deep level.

Artifact 2: Spanish PBL - Personal Presentation Poster
Introduction
For this Spanish class project-based learning (PBL) assignment, my group and I created a visual presentation about ourselves entirely in Spanish. The project required us to design and construct a poster board presentation using physical materials - no digital tools were involved. We gathered photos from our lives, organized them meaningfully on a poster board, and prepared to present our work entirely in Spanish to our parents. This hands-on project challenged us to communicate personal information in Spanish, practice our speaking skills, and demonstrate creativity through physical design. The artifact represents our collaboration, language skills, and ability to create engaging visual presentations using traditional materials and handwork.

Artifact 4: DEAR Project: Scythe
Introduction
For this project, I created a DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) presentation about the book "Scythe" by Neal Shusterman. The project required me to read the book, analyze its themes and characters, and create a drawing based on the book along with a rhetorical question based on the book. This project challenged me to engage deeply with the text, think critically about its content, and communicate my insights effectively through a visual format. The artifact represents my ability to analyze literature, synthesize information, and create engaging posters that convey complex ideas in an accessible way. It also demonstrates my commitment to quality work and my ability to connect literary themes to broader societal issues.
